Sammy Long is a registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners of BC (CTCMA) and is currently completing her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine certification at Pacific Rim College.
Sammy's approach to treatment is rooted in the belief that the body, mind and spirit are an integrated whole. She treats her clients with dignity and respect, and creates a safe and welcoming environment for healing and recovery. She is energized by introducing new clients to the efficacy of acupuncture and Chinese medicine practices, which includes, Cupping, Gua Sha, diet therapy, Tui Na massage and Acupressure. Sammy’s practice is inspired by her study of Qi gong, Tai Qi, and her personal journey of healing trauma through acupuncture and body movement.
As well as her acupuncture practice, Sammy has assisted in teaching Qi Gong, Tai Qi, Meridians and Points, and Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Pacific Rim College. Outside of the clinic, Sammy is passionate about cycling and empowering women and LGBTQ2 individuals within the cycling community.
