Jennifer Van den Bosch holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She has a Level Two Certificate in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, as well as a certificate in Indigenous Cultural Safety Training. Jennifer’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centred. She believes you are the expert in your own life and provides a safe space for you to process and heal. Collaboratively, she helps you identify your strengths and to explore the root cause of your concerns while using multiple therapeutic tools to help you develop a plan to move forward and obtain your goals. Jennifer works with individuals and couples in areas such as self-acceptance, anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, grief and loss, health and lifestyle issues, relationships and exploring feelings of anger, shame, and guilt and the impact on your day-to-day life. In addition, she works with couples who are struggling in their relationships and parents who are looking to improve their relationship with their children and each other. She offers pre-commitment counselling to help couples build a successful skill set for long term commitment based on dignity and respect for each other.
