Sarah Jenkinson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and holds a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria. Sarah is an EMDR Trained Therapist. Sarah has provided clinical counselling services for over 17 years and has extensive experience helping clients process and heal from trauma and attachment wounds, anxiety and depression, life transitions and aging, grief and loss, and work-related stress and burnout. Sarah draws from a breadth of experience in utilizing a strength-based approach to empower clients to access their resilience and regain balance and well-being.
Sarah fosters collaborative relationships and safety with her clients. She believes in honouring her client's strengths and encourages them to express and process difficult emotions, including guilt, shame and anger, that affect the quality of their lives. Sarah draws from various modalities in support of her client's goals, including EMDR therapy, Hakomi-informed therapy, DBT, and CBT.
